Are film reviews even relevant today? Do people even read reviews? And if they do, don’t they just read it after they’ve seen the movie, in order to see how their opinions line up?

Film critics used to let people decide which movies to watch. There wasn’t much else to tell them what movies were playing. Now we’re bombarded with commercials on tv, internett, radio, billboards, buses and products. We don’t seek advice on deciding because it’s already been decided for us.
